FOR MUSICAL THEATRE & DRAMA COLLEGES
Are you preparing for the musical theatre and drama college audition season? Did you realise that each college has individual requirements, making preparation exhausting (and expensive).
We’re hosting Gabriella Flowers as she presents her signature "Musical Theatre and Drama College Audition Prep Workshop". This workshop covers detailed information on the individual requirements of each musical theatre and drama college, including WAAPA, NIDA, QUT, The Queensland Conservatorium, Elder Conservatorium and more.

This session will help you learn -
- How to select, prepare and perform your chosen material for auditions
- Audition etiquette and how to bring the best first version of you!
- Exercises to improve your callback material.
- Get resources on where to source suitable songs and monologues specific to college auditions.
- How to select the right monologue for you from the college provided list.
- Work in detail on character choices and explore different ways to access a character.
- How to approach and analyse audition material in a pro-active manner.
- Have your questions answered.
This workshop is delivered in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

WHO IS GABRIELLA FLOWERS?
Gabriella received her BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre from Arts Educational Schools London. Since graduating she has performed, directed and produced in London, New York and Australia. Gabriella also trained with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and went on to Assistant Direct one of their 2011 productions.
Career highlights include directing the first production worldwide to feature a fully working steam train (THE TRAIN TEA SOCIETY); which won an Anywhere Festival Award. She has also won a host of awards for her work performing, writing and directing such productions as MURDER IN THE MANSION, THE CONFESSION and THAT AWKWARD MOMENT. She was also recognised for BEST DIRECTION for THE PRODUCERS in the 2017 Del Arte Charts. Recent commercials include PILLOWTALK, MARLEY SPOON and HUMIRA in the USA.
Recently, Gabriella won BEST ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL in the 2021 GOLD COAST AWARDS, for her role as Carole King in BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL and played the iconic role of MARIA in THE SOUND OF MUSIC on the Gold Coast early 2024. Gabriella has been a Performing Arts coach for both children and adults for over 15 years. Her classes and workshops are based on building a safe and supportive environment for performers to be creative, grow in confidence and have fun.
